I really like the photographer's choice of vantage point here. The positioning right at the top of the stairs makes me feel like I am standing there, teetering on the edge. It gives me the same feeling I experience when I look down from a balcony or other high place. Also, the stairs visible in the distance seem to connect the immediate space in the foreground with the other side of the building far away.
