There are a whole collection of these photos and they are all stunning. Fireflies are magical already, but the strength of the photographic medium here is its ability to manipulate time. It actually captures all of the fireflies in the air by taking just a slightly longer exposure. Oddly enough the background is faded, unfocused and boring,
but the mere presence of the effusive balls of yellow, yellow light makes the picture pop like anything.
