American House

This photograph was taken in a ghost town in Colorado. For me, it captures the relentless passage of time. The worn out letters that spell out "American House" and the decaying wood of the house are evidence of time's destructive nature. Even the mountains in the background were formed by slow geological processes over long periods of time. This picture is a depressing reminder to me that everything fades and decays given sufficient time.
